I recently stayed at this hotel in Metung, and while I appreciated the spacious suite and the lovely views, it was frustrating to discover that my specific room request was not honored. The location is fantastic, being close to local attractions, but I was disappointed with my assigned room's layout and lighting. Overall, there were great aspects, but some key details detracted from the experience.

I had a delightful stay at The Moorings in Metung! The welcome upon arrival was warm and made me feel at home. I enjoyed the beautiful garden room and could see how stunning the lake view rooms would be if you're aiming for something special. I wish I'd had more time to take advantage of the tennis courts and pool. On the downside, the area can get busy during meal times, as the restaurant's hours are limited, making dining a little constrained. Overall, it was a lovely short break, and I definitely would love to return.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort with stunning surroundings and a fantastic accommodation. The two-bedroom apartment was immaculate and well-equipped, complete with breathtaking views of the lake. While the pricing leaned towards the higher side, I found it was excellent value for everything offered. The only downside was that the room could use a bit of modernization, especially the blinds. Overall, though, it was a superb experience that I would recommend without hesitation.
